What we offer
The Olive Oil Workshop provides activities in and around the vicinity of Seville for individual travelers, groups of tourists or business people.
Here are our most popular experiences:
Market tour + olive oil tasting
This tour starts out with a Spanish breakfast. We then take a tour of a local market, learning about its history and the importance of the mediterranean diet. After sampling some goodies, we taste three award winning olive oils. The experience is finished with a few tapas and a wine. 2.5 hrs.
The Workshop
During the workshop participants will learn about the process of making olive oil, the defects and attributes and how to taste olive oil . We finish off with a pairing of olive oils with simple tapas and a wine. Duration 1 .5 hrs
Mill and grove + tasting
We visit a nearby olive oil producer to see how extra virgin olive oil is made. Participants will tour the groves, the mill and a museum. The experience is finished with a tasting and a few tapas. Transport can be provided.
The mill is on the way to Córdoba from Sevilla and is an excellent way to make transport between the two cities more enjoyable. Duration 2 hrs or 3.5 hrs with transport.
